Open Question: Are the McCain and Bush really owned by the oil companies?

The reason I am asking this is because Bush and McCain seem to be protecting them. Are the oil companies big backers?

I was looking it up and look what I came across:
www.ecogeek.org/content/view/1957/

1970 Jack Nicholson was advertising a hydrogen powered car, unfortunately, it didn’t make it to the streets. The oil companies may have pulled a ‘Count of Monte Cristo’ on its producers…

McCain is defending the oil companies, and Bush has oil connections. Why are the Republicans so intent on helping out the oil companies? Why not just force a switch to hydrogen? Is this what Final Fantasy 7 was talking about, are we draining the life of the earth by using oil?

Open Question: Why should I allow my husband to go to a massage parlor

First off, it is “Asian” and open noon to midnight. They advertise in the sports section. This is suspicious.
He tells me it is 20 minutes of steam shower (probably with a girl washing you), 30 minutes of “body work” that is definitely done by a woman, a manicure, facial, and hair styling for “only” $75, plus tip.
I asked if I could come along. He doesn’t think so. A friend says it is a thinly disguised brothel.
He says he needs to de-stress. This sounds like I shouldn’t trust him. Should I call the place? Should I just ask if they provide sex as part of the deal? I need to know before I agree to this.

Open Question: Does Simoniz "Fix-It" really work to take off car scratches?

I just saw a commercial on it, Billy Mays was advertising it. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks for any help.

Open Question: What the heck is the "Montauk Monster"?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,396182,00.html

What do you think it is? Is it a raccoon? I’ve seen a lot of raccoons in Ohio in various states of decomposition, but nothing quite like this.

Personally, I think it may be a publicity stunt/hoax for an upcoming Cartoon Network show, similar to the advertising stunt that was misinterpreted as a terrorist threat in Boston last year.
That’s what I was thinking, too, Madcat

Open Question: Question about Cnet??? Do they offer free downloads? and are they legal?

Is everything on their download site free, and if it is free, is it legal? Why would they offer free game downloads and free software? It seems logical that they would do this to attract visitors to their site, where they could advertise products and make money, but I don’t see a lot of ads there. This free and legal download thing seems too good to be true, especially when there is so much good stuff available on Cnet. So, is Cnet legal, safe, and free?
Also, if i download it to a psp or something, can I still use the software?
